 The best features of Cameron Highlands that we must to see was tea plantation besides strawberry farm, fruits and vegetables farm, Rose Valley and Agro Technology Park. I really like to see the scene beauty of the green tea plantation that can give peace when I was walking across of tea plantation. There air is very cool when walk around the tea plantation at the morning and we can relax with fresh air in there and not just the air is fresh but we can also fragrant smell of fresh tea. Tea plantation in Cameron Highlands was the largest in Malaysia and it is grown on the terraced slopes. The height of the grown tea was around 16m m height. Tea plantation was also the best part to take picture in there and when take picture it will be all green background in your picture. Other place that people can visit besides, was walking around of tea plantation is we can visit the tea factories. At the tea factories we can see the process of tea production. When we visit at the tea factories will enhanced your knowledge on how the tea process such as how to blending tea and packaging tea. Tea factories such as BOH, Bharat Tea Estate and Sungai Palas Estate that people can visit in Cameron Highlands. Before the tea it process in factories they will picked leaves from the side of the tea plants. They usually use a manual shears to pick leaves of tea plants with a metal tray that funnels the leaves into another sack. We can see at the early morning will able to have a glimpse of young women or men with carry the sack at the back them was walking between rows or tea bushes to cutter and picked the tea tender young tea leaves and throwing tea leaves that they picked into baskets strapped to their backs. After that, they will bring the leaves of tea at the factories to process. Usually the same leaves of tea plant are used to produce variety type of tea such as mix tea with flavored strawberry, orange and grape. Furthermore, have shop where people can buy tea as souvenirs and people many choices to buy tea because at the shop have many variety of tea sell at their from cheaper tea to the expensive tea. At the shop not just you can buy tea but will able to drink tea. Among the famous tea plantation in Cameron Highlands is BOH that means “Best Of Highlands”.
