Suria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur

Hey everyone! In this post entry I would proudly share with you my favorite place to visit. I am sure enough that everyone has their favorite place to visit too. Some people love to go to their favorite place to release their burdens after a tiring day or maybe to have a sightseeing. For me, I would say that I really love to go to Suria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur.

Suria KLCC also known as Petronas Twin Tower and it was once the tallest building in the world but then surpassed by Taipei 101 in Taiwan. Although, it is still the tallest twin buildings in the world. Suria KLCC was invented by the idea of our fourth Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir. It was started to construct in 1991 and it took about 7 years to finish the construction. It was designed to be a city within a city; the 100-acre site hosts the tallest twin buildings in the world, shopping mall, hotels, office buildings and several hotels. A public park and a mosque are also built on the area and open to everyone. The whole project is cooled via district cooling located on the property.

Suria KLCC is currently the only and main commercial center in the KLCC area. The shopping mall occupies space underneath the Petronas Twin Towers and shares its parking lot with it. The six-story shopping mall has been extended to Menara Carigali since 2011. There are plans to extend the mall to Lot K and also Lot D1 as well. The mall is connected to the KLCC LRT station making it access to public transport easier. It also serves as one of the bus hubs for Bandar Buses of RapidKL. The mall also has a tunnel link to Kuala Lumpur Convention Center which in turn connects to Bukit Bintang shopping district. There are so many accomodations in Suria KLCC as it also locates various high fashioned boutiques such as Topman, Zara, Forever 21, Guess, and many more! There are also bank offices, post office, and food outlets to ease the people that come to Suria KLCC.

At the center of the property lies KLCC Park. The park is one of the last designs of notable Brazilian park designer Roberto Burle Marx. The park holds a jogging track, a public swimming pool, several children's playground and a man-made lake complete with water fountains. There is also has a mosque known as As-Syakirin Mosque which has the capacity to hold 12,000 people. Naturally, many religious activities such as Friday prayer is also conducted here. For those who is on a travel may drop by to perform their solah in this mosque and this can really help those people out there who is on travel to socialize with and make a peace bonds.

In conclusion, I would like to encourage all of you to try and visit Suria KLCC as it will never disappoints you in any way. In fact It will brought you deep in the informative surroundings such as having science trip in Petrosains and so on. That is why I keep myself love to always go there when I need something. Suria KLCC is the best for everything.
